Founded in 1958 by Frank McLaughlin, the firm quickly established a reputation for providing leading edge commercial advice and competent and aggressive litigation services dedicated to meeting client needs in a timely and cost effective manner.

McLaughlins has since its foundation provided cutting edge legal services. By way of example, Frank McLaughlin handled legal matters for Kinkabool, the first high-rise apartment building on the Gold Coast, at a time when there were no legal rights to ownership of units that were “floating in the air”. The firm has continued that tradition of providing innovative solutions in commercial law matters.
