Septimus Jones & Lee was founded in 1931.

At present there are 8 partners in the firm whose expertise covers the legal spectrum ranging from business law and commercial litigation to family law, property, wills, estate planning and the administration of deceased estates.

Septimus Jones & Lee has been a strong force in the area of property development in Victoria since its inception and has been a legal leader in acting for and advising property developers in commercial and residential subdivisions.

Each partner is supported by a strong team of associates, consultants and experienced law clerks dedicated to the evolving growth and success of the firm. Septimus Jones & Lee has been able to maintain a character and identity as a highly regarded legal firm which has been witness to the growth, decline, and disappearance of quite a number of other Melbourne legal firms for over 75 years.
